Vulture

Spawning

Vultures spawn in groups of 2-4 above above grass blocks at a light level of 9 or more in savanna, badlands and desert biomes.

Spawn biomes can be edited with a data pack via adding or removing biomes from tags/worldgen/has_vulture.json in Naturalist’s data files.

Drops

Vultures drop upon death:

• 1-2 feathers. The maximum is increased by one per level of Looting, for a maximum of 1-5 with Looting III.
• 1-3 experience orbs if killed by a player or tamed wolf.

Item drops can be edited with a data pack via editing loot_tables/entities/vulture.json in Naturalist’s data files.
